We've seen it happen too often: Employees should change, but they don't get enough information about why, what, or how they should change. It's never worked before — and how should it?
That's why we include the content for change: crisp, practice-relevant expert knowledge - and various appropriate behaviours!
We don't want to overwhelm users with content. That is why we only deliver what is necessary, written by people who know what is important: In a format and so specific that what they have learned can be applied immediately. For us, it is about implementation, not about learning!
Behavior Change Design runs through Culcha on all levels: From the way we designed the app, to the display and formulation of the content, to the additional impulses that are solely aimed at changing behavior.
Here, we work with a portfolio of tools: from nudges (a Nobel Prize-winning mechanism) and self-set goals to sophisticated gamification to self-assessments, guided reflections and much more.
We are even dedicating a separate phase to this: The stabilization phase. Because we don't just want to create new behavior for once, we want to make it a habit.
Our latest mechanism: We formulate “quick wins” with users, which they can use to memorize new habits. And this, of course, is now also supported by AI: Communication and content are personalized, increasingly powered by triggers from everyday working life or the specific behavior of users.
